SHOE

Shoe is a term that comes from zabata, a word from the Turkish language. A shoe is a piece of footwear that protects the foot, providing comfort to the person when carrying out different actions (walking, running, jumping, etc.).

The shoes have a sole and a structure made of leather, rubber or other material that reaches the ankle. The individual must introduce his foot into the shoe in such a way that the sole of the foot is located just above the sole. In general, the shoes have laces that allow a precise fit to the feet.

Over the years, shoes have greatly changed their appearance and purpose. In its origins, a shoe was a kind of leather bag that protected the feet so that the person would not be injured when walking on certain terrain. It also provided shelter, unlike sandals.

In this sense, we have to show that the first shoe that is known as such dates from the year 1,600 BC It was used in Babylon and was a kind of leather moccasin that was fastened with laces.

Other interesting data in relation to the shoe are the following:

-The Romans were the first settlers on Earth who gave shape to what were guilds of shoemakers.

-It is considered that the origin of the heel could be in an old footwear that was created in the desert with that element in order to be able to go over the sand even if the footwear sank a bit.

-A curious fact is that in seventeenth-century Europe, the upper classes wore heels so high that it was impossible for women to put on themselves.

-Until the XIX century there was no difference between left and right shoe. It was from that moment that they began to be made with different lasts, which everyone was surely grateful for.

-Among the most comfortable types of shoes that exist are, without a doubt, sports shoes. Specifically, they were created in the United States at the beginning of the 20th century, exactly in 1916.

Today shoes fulfill these basic functions (protection and shelter), but also reflect a social status. Subjects who occupy a position of power and wish to manifest it use very expensive shoes, the quality of which is visible at first glance. Shoes, on the other hand, are used in formal contexts, accompanied by certain panties, shirts and jackets.

While shoes man cover almost the entire vamp, women's shoes more often leave bare. Another important difference is that women's shoes often include studs (also called heels ) in the heel area, making the woman appear taller.

When choosing a suitable shoe, you must always take into account several recommendations:

-That it is appropriate for the use that is going to be given and the place where it is going to be used.

-That adapts to the foot.

-Make it soft and breathable.
