 Zumba is a notion with several meanings in the dictionary produced by the Royal Spanish Academy ( RAE ). The first refers to a large cowbell that oxen or horses usually carry in certain contexts.

The RAE also mentions that zumba can be a toy also known as churinga or bramadera ; a beating or a beating; one state of drunkenness persistent; or a joke or joke.

Zumba, in this context, is a registered trademark. The Zumba Fitness company offers what they call “fitness parties”, which consist of teaching choreography as a training method. According to the company's official website, 15 million people practice Zumba in 180 countries through instructor classes and DVD playback.

Through zumba routines, the person can improve their flexibility and strengthen their muscles while having fun dancing to the rhythm of merengue, reggaeton, cumbia or salsa.

However, if in recent years it has managed to become more known to become the favorite sport of many people to stay in shape, it is because it allows you to enjoy other advantages. Specifically, in addition to those mentioned, these are the main ones that practicing Zumba brings:

-It becomes a great tool to burn calories and, therefore, to be able to lose fat. Hence, it is considered that in each Zumba session, lasting about sixty minutes, around 800 calories can be eliminated.

In addition to all the above, we cannot ignore that the fact that there is no age to practice Zumba is also considered a great success. It is believed that anyone, no matter how old they are, can carry out this sport without problems.
